The Hindi television industry lost a gem when actress Pratyusha Banerjee passed away. Banerjee, first gained recognition when she appeared on the 2010 show Balika Vadhu. The actress played the role of a lead, essaying the character of Anandi in the show. Pratyusha died on April 1, 2016, due to asphyxia. On her death anniversary today, Pratyusha’s Balika Vadhu co-star Shashank Vyas, who played the role of Jagya on the show, made a post. Shashank shared a picture of the late actress and remembered her.
Taking to his Instagram stories, Shashank Vyas shared two pictures of his late Balika Vadhu co-star. He shared one video of a scene from Balika Vadhu, featuring Pratyusha dressed up as Anandi and him as Jagya. Along with the video, Shashank added the background music of the song Channa Mereya from the film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, remembering his late co-star. The actor shared a picture of Pratyusha and wrote, “If you asked me how many times you’ve crossed my mind, I would say once because you never really left. #imissyouforever” Shanshank made the post, remembering the late actress and shared it with a yellow heart emoji. In the post’s caption, Vyas mentioned he misses Pratyusha even today. He shared that the thought of her crosses his mind every single day.

Meanwhile, Pratyusha Banerjee was found dead in her Mumbai apartment. Pratyusha started her career as an actress in television in 2010 with the show Rakt Sambandh. She played Priya Jagirdar. The actress went on to feature in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. She essayed the role of Vaani, a friend of Akshara (Hina Khan). She then earned fame with Balika Vadhu and Bigg Boss 7.
